Gilbert electronics and TV drop-off
Gilbert’s HHW facility takes some electronics, but its TV rule matters: flat screens are accepted; CRT TVs are not. The Town’s bulk program handles those older TVs instead.

Flat-screen TVs and computers
The HHW facility accepts flat-screen TVs, laptops, computers, cell phones and printers. Gilbert residents need a valid state or federal ID and a current Town utility bill. Business hazardous waste is not accepted.
CRT TVs and small electronics
CRT TVs, microwaves and vacuums are not accepted at the HHW facility. Gilbert’s bulk program accepts CRT, DLP and rear-projection televisions and microwaves, but not flat-screen TVs or other electronics.
Appliances
Large appliances need a separate Town pickup; call 480-503-6400. The HHW page says to put small appliances in the trash bin. Microwaves are accepted in the bulk program, while refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, water heaters and air conditioners are not.
